Janine Materna, Esq. is the Founder and Principal Attorney of Janine Materna – Attorney at Law, PLLC.  

Ms. Materna prides herself on being a native New Yorker and the proud product of public school education.  

Ms. Materna received her B.A. Degree in Political Science and Environmental Science from Columbia College of Columbia University and earned her J.D. from New York Law School, where she was part of the evening program while working full-time.  

From a young age, Ms. Materna looked up to her father, Joseph A. Materna, Esq., and wanted to follow in his footsteps by becoming an Attorney at Law. To her, Mr. Materna, was the example of the American dream and a true inspiration. She worked closely with her father and was Of Counsel at the Law Office of Joseph A. Materna. Ms. Materna decided to establish her own law practice in the Materna family tradition following her father and sister, Jodi M. Materna, Esq., by practicing Wills, Trusts, and Estates, including but not limited to:

In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering with both the New York Junior League and the Bowery Mission, where  she orchestrates groups to help feed homeless and hungry New Yorkers.
